Chad Mize's free-flow doodle tribute to the St. Pete Pier, painted for the fifth anniversary of the 2020 Pier. Three eras radiate across the wall around the dates each pier opened — 1928, 1973 and 2020 — stitched together with personal memories: David and Jo water skiing in the sixties, Cha Cha Coconuts on top of the inverted pyramid in the mid nineties, a Karmann Ghia, a 1999 Nokia reading MEET ME AT THE PIER. As time and technology moved on, the waterfront's magical fun and good energy stayed exactly the same. Created with Jenee Priebe (@nogooddeeds_art) for @stpetepier and @stpetefl.
